Healing Trauma through the Mind and Body
Stop the Cycle: Find Your "Lift" Toward Healing & Change.
Healing isn't about becoming someone else—it's about reconnecting with the person you were always meant to be.
At Pinnacle Counseling & Consulting, I believe healing begins with the Lift—the process of rising above the effects of painful experiences, unhealthy patterns, and survival mode. Therapy is a collaborative partnership. I provide the clinical expertise, evidence-based approaches, and supportive relationship that create the lift. You bring your willingness to take each next step, at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Many of the people I work with have spent years functioning in survival mode—appearing capable on the outside while feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. Together, we'll identify the patterns that keep you stuck, help your nervous system experience safety again, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal isn't simply reducing symptoms. It's helping you build a life that feels authentic, connected, and fulfilling.
I specialize in helping adults heal from complex trauma, generational trauma, anxiety, and professional burnout using evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and other mind-body therapies. Rather than simply learning to cope, we'll work toward helping your brain, body, and relationships move toward lasting healing.
The Three C's of Healing
Healing doesn't require having everything figured out before you begin. We start where you are, at a pace that feels manageable and supportive. Along the way, my hope is that you'll experience three important foundations of lasting change:
Courage - Honoring the strength it took to reach out and continue showing up for yourself.
Compassion - Creating a safe, supportive space where self-criticism can soften, difficult experiences can be processed, and you feel genuinely seen and understood.
Confidence - Developing resilience and self-trust as you reclaim your story and move toward the life you want to live.
Whether we meet in my Blue Springs office or through secure telehealth, you'll find a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are respected, your strengths are recognized, and your healing is supported every step of the way.
You don't have to have everything figured out to begin. You've already taken the first courageous step by searching for support. If you're ready, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you continue your journey.

Confidence – Building resilience, self-trust, and lasting change as you reclaim your story and move forward with purpose.
